AP Chinese Test is chosen by many students especially those from a family speaking Chinese as mother language. However, it turned out even the ABCs, American Born Chinese, do not necessarily score high in this test by nature. The design of AP Chinese Test in USA has a very different angle from just speaking the language. It focuses more on culture and writing rather than simple recoginizing the characters and reading simple articles.
There are tricks to prepare students better for the test, though.
